About the study

Type 2 Diabetes Research Study (Insulin Only)

Researchers are studying an investigational approach for adults with Type 2 diabetes who use daily basal insulin. If you qualify, you may be asked to monitor your blood sugar and complete study diaries.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 18 or older
  • Use daily basal insulin such as Lantus (insulin glargine) or insulin degludec
  • May also take metformin and/or an SGLT-2 inhibitor
  • Have an HbA1c between 7.0% and 10.5%
  • Have a BMI of 23 or higher

Qualified participants receive:

  • Study-related care at no cost
  • Compensation for time and participation
  • Close health monitoring during the study
