Lucy Coassin

Chief Executive Officer, Interim

Lucy Coassin is CEO of Hawthorne Health and a Director at Northpond Ventures. She serves as a board director at Inflammatix, Octave Bioscience, SimBioSys, and Vital Biosciences, and a board observer at Faro Health, Triumvira, Vizgen, and Slingshot Biosciences. Previously, Lucy served on the boards of Story Health (acquired by Innovaccer) and Hawthorne Health.

Prior to Northpond, she was Head of Pharma at Current Health (a Northpond portfolio company, acquired by Best Buy). She has 15 years of experience commercializing technology from product launch to widespread adoption. Lucy has held business development and commercial roles at digital health and life science tool companies including Science 37 (NASDAQ: SNCE), Farcast Biosciences, Genentech, and Life Technologies (acquired by Thermo Fisher, NYSE: TMO). Lucy received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. with distinction in Chemistry from Duke University.

Ricky de Lemos

Chief Operating Officer

Ricky leads all operational aspects of Hawthorne’s community research sites and in-home service lines. He brings more than 15 years of clinical trial operations experience, with deep expertise in scaling site networks and delivering consistent execution across locations.

He joined Hawthorne in 2025 from Alliance Clinical Network, where as Chief Operating Officer he led network expansion and implemented the processes and technology that streamlined clinical workflows. Earlier, as Executive Director of Clinical Operations at CVS Health, he launched and led pharmacy-based clinical trial site initiatives across the U.S. His career also includes global project management and operations leadership at Signant Health, Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, and Bioclinica.

Alex Willgoos

Chief Financial Officer

Alex leads financial strategy, capital planning, and operational efficiency at Hawthorne Health, including fundraising, cash and equity management, and the finance and accounting team that supports the company’s growth.

He joined Hawthorne in 2024 after serving as Director of Finance at InnovaCare Health. Before that he spent eight years at CVS Health in financial planning and analysis, most recently leading FP&A for the Clinical Trials Services business, with earlier roles in finance transformation for HealthHUBs and Omnicare FP&A.

Kimberly DiCamillo

Chief Commercial Officer

Kim leads sales and the business development team at Hawthorne Health, working with sponsors and CROs from first conversation through feasibility and study award.

She brings more than two decades of commercial leadership across clinical research, patient recruitment, and strategic partnerships. Before joining Hawthorne in 2025, Kim held senior business development and alliance roles at Profound Research, Sangamo Therapeutics, Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, PPD, Medidata Solutions, Acurian, and PRA International.

Danielle Lambert

Head of People

Danielle leads the people function at Hawthorne Health, covering talent acquisition, employee experience, culture, HR compliance, and employee relations. She partners with leaders across the organization to build the teams and the people practices behind the company’s growth.

She brings a background in talent acquisition and recruiting leadership, and a view of how talent strategy connects to business outcomes. At Hawthorne she is focused on building the workforce behind more accessible clinical trials, and on a One Hawthorne culture that keeps teams connected across the organization as it grows.

Jared Facher

General Counsel

Jared leads the legal function at Hawthorne Health, advising executive leadership on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters. He oversees contract negotiation and legal operations across clinical and commercial functions, as well as quality and compliance, data privacy, and corporate governance.

He joined Hawthorne in 2025 from Syneos Health, where, as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, he served as Chief Counsel to Illingworth Research Group, the research nursing business unit delivering in-home clinical trial visits across the U.S. and more than 30 countries, and to the Early Phase unit, which operates clinical trial sites in the U.S. and Canada. Earlier in his career, he practiced health care law at Crowell & Moring and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. A licensed physical therapist before practicing law, Jared holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and is a Chambers-ranked attorney in health care law.

Enrique Rodriguez-Paz, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Rodriguez-Paz serves as Medical Director at Hawthorne Health, providing physician oversight across the community site network and in-home visit programs. He has been part of the Hawthorne medical team since 2021 and works closely with investigators, research nurses, and sponsors on protocol review, safety, and clinical quality.

He is a cardiologist completing an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Florida Atlantic University, a vascular medicine fellowship in Arizona, and his internal medicine residency at Hospital Damas in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He has published in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
